Recently I've been getting this problem so much that I simply decided not to connect anywhere, regardless. btw, I've been on win7 for three months already.

What happens is, when I attempt to connect to the network (either wireless or lan) everything slows down dramatically, to the point where it freezes if I try to click on anything.

I would really like this problem solved, otherwise my laptop is practically as useful as a desk lamp.

Have you updated the wireless and network adapters?
