Is there a way to fix a problem of this nature? I was using diskeeper to defrag the boot sectors and now there is no BOOTMGR or it is misplaced. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. My work software is on this machine.![]()

Thank you for the responses. Sorry it has taken a little while to get back. One or two more questions if you do not mind. Do I boot into Vista DVD like I am installing it or how do I get to the bootrec/ fixmbr? Sorry there are a lot of things I can do but this is one I have not run into. I actually just started feeling safe about using Vista a few months ago. So Vista is new to me. I greatly appreciate all the help.
