Hello everyone, new here in the forum.

My M1710 laptop is great, the only thing is the constant beeping I'm hearing...
Its not that loud but it gets on your nerves real fast.

The beeping starts only when I enter windows vista and its a constant beeping.
It stops only when my computer loads, like when I play a game it loads a bit more so it beeps less.

I fixed this before in the bios but I can't remember what I've done..
I have tried looking for the same topic that helped me but believe me, I looked everywhere trying to find a fix for this, I just can't.

If you have a fix for this please let me know.
Also my harddrive clicks for some reason, if you got a fix for that it would be cool but its not really annoying at all... its a SATA HD just so you know.

    Thanks in advance! :)

I just plugged in my webcam to show you guys the beeping but as soon as I plug my webcam into the USB the beeping stops for some reason?

That kind of sounds like a dying HDD to me. Isnt the HDD located right there?
