    Hi! everybody.
    here in peru :) i have an awesome XPS M1710 i was trying to work some music con Cakewalk Music Creator but i suprise when the software tells me that i cant play (or hear) anything cause it doesnt find any MIDI output.. so here i am..

    i dont know what to do.. i tried downloading the last driver for my SigmaTel Audio but it doesnt help

    !! anyone here have an idea about HOW to work with this kind of software in this laptop?.

    Have you checked that your 'midi music playback device' is set? It should be set to your primary sound hardware by default, but who knows in this case.

    i try everything ysterday.. so now i decided to change the version of Cakewalk (go backwards).. so it works. why it doesn work with music creator pro 24? dont know.. but now..

    anyway if someone have a help.. drop me a word.

    Does Cakewalk require a dongle, and if so, are you sing a legit copy (don't answer that question)? Sometimes dongle cracks have been known to mess with system audio hardware/software.
