I have a couple of M1730s. When I looked in the bios on one of them it said that the memory was running at 667mhz. I took the old PC5300 (667mhz) memory out and replaced it with PC6400 (800mhz). However, the bios is still showing it as 667. I thought that the FSB and CPU both ran at 800mhz and that replacing the 667mhz memory with 800mhz would improve overall performance.

The other M1730 already had 4GB of PC6400 and that, too, is showing 667mhz in the bios.

Can the M1730's only run the memory at 667mhz or am I missing something?
