Hi everyone. Not sure how exactly to get RAID setup - I've never set it up myself. Could anyone explain how to set up your computer in RAID in Vista/7? Thankee :)

You set it up normally, from the boot menu that appears before OS load up. Then you install Vista/7 normally. When you finish the OS installing, then install Intel Storage Manager driver.

Hehe, it's the 'normally' part I'm having issues with. I've never installed RAID0.

Basically what I done was enable RAID in the BIOS. Install Windows 7 normally. It's still showing up as two seperate hard drives. I install the Intel Storage Manager driver, and it should work as RAID?

Once you enable RAID in the BIOS, you need to hit CTRL-I when prompted in the RAID menu upon boot, here you can configure RAID 0/1 stripe size, etc... You do this before you install any OS. You won't see this menu at boot until you enable RAID in the BIOS. I just did this with W7 last week with no issues. Once you get it built you can then update the RAID drivers to the latest release.
