Anyone have an idea whether the M1730 will be able to take this 9800M card and...be still my beating heart....if it will ever be launched in a SLI version ??

You`ll have to wait a few months.
The 9800M GTX SINGLE will be out later this month.

The 9800M only slows minimal improvement, the 9900M is another story altogether!

Many offer it. But the card itself has NOT been thoroughly tested yet.
