Okay, not too sure where this should go, but ill put it in here for now.

Just got an M1730 refurbed, and the speaker on the right hand side isnt working. Is this a common problem or a driver issue?

I called the place I got it from and they're sending a new speaker, but just wondering if I can check if its working or not, indefinetly.

Tried all the usual balance settings etc.

    Any ideas?

Plug in a pair of headphones and confirm you hear sound coming from the right channel - this will rule out additional problems.

Most likely, its just the speaker itself or a loose connection. Since they are sending you the part, once its installed you should be good to go.

If you have to install yourself, reference this:
