Hey, im looking to upgrade my DVD Drive (DVDRW) becuase its painfully slow (4x), should I replace the internal - if so whats compatible for the m1730, and where would be the best place to buy it?

or would it be easier to buy an external?

the only reason I would prefer internal is obviously tidyness :)

I replaced mine with a Blue Ray drive, the drive is a standard slim drive that fits most laptops, you only move the face plate and also the locking bracket from the old drive to the new one and slide it in the laptop and lock it in. Note: there is only one screw holding the drive in the laptop so it is very easy to change.
