I chose to use MSI afterburner to OC the graphics card and tested it with 3D Mark 11, Basic Edition. 3GB Nvidia 555m revision GF116
Stock settings:
P1455 Temp 56c
1st OC:
Core clock: 651
Shader Clock: 1302
Results: P1587 Temp 58c
2nd OC:
Core Clock: 700
Shader Clock: 1400
Results: P1691 Temp 60c
3rd OC:
Core Clock: 770
Shader Clock: 1535
Results: P1830 Temp 62c
Everything seemed stable at all the above settings. More testing during Skyrim and SWTOR game play should let me know. But in truth, I may not overclock for now as all the games I play look great and play great with stock setting. If anyone else has used similiar settings, please post results and how it worked out for you.
Thx, Rob

forget the shader clock, that should be set at double the core clock, change the memory clock instead
decent results though tbh -
Followed your OC of 770/1000 and now my score is P1853. I played Skyrim for about a half hour. Just cruising around whiterun, no big fights and the temp stayed between 58c and 62c. I am going to stay at 700/1000 for now. I really like this laptop and don't want to overdue it. Jon, thx for helping me out. Skyrim looks better and is smoother.
