    so I wanted a visual battery toolbar for my XPS17 l702x well Ive had it for only a month and this program says I have 5% battery wear.

    shouild I contact dell about this?

    Both mine and my wife's have 4% wear and we just got ours lol. Ours was new so I don't think you should worry much, batteries don't often come fully capable of charging to capacity anyway right?

    Mine had extra sticker that's on the battery in package... which means there's a chance laptop/battery was used already... still sold as new.

    Don't like dell as much as I used to .. called dell today to get my laptop picked up this Friday... can't wait to get rid of it.

    By the way, XPS 17 dropped the price yet again...

    you dont need to contact dell thats normal, mines the same and its a 2 month old new one.
