    Hi peope!

I have an XPS 1645, very, very powerfull notebook, but with a big problem...the fan is contantly on at low rpm, because it switch on at 55°C and swith off at 45°C (this temperature is realy difficult to reach in Sicily where the ambient temp is near 40°C in summer time).
Usin a little software called R&W everythings I'm able to switch on and off the fan, and I'm able to control the fan speed.....

I can write some softare using CVI from National Instrument (is a programming language based on C, and is compatible whit ANSI C), but I cant read and write directly a memory location (i know the location used in embedded controller for control the fan and used for read the temperature and the fan speed)...

I wroted some email to SpeedFan developper without reply, and for this if some one try to help me I try to make own software for control the fan!
