I'm sorry if this has been answered before (ive searched). I currently have the new dell xps 15z that came with 6gigs memory. I'm looking to max out the RAM but i cant find anything on Dells site that shows what the max is.

Does anyone know what the max ram is for the xps 15z?

Currently its hard to find 8Gb modules (and they are insanely expensive), so like the XPS15 its now 2x4Gb.
Theoretically SB notebooks will take 2x8Gb. Somewhere on Kingston's site there was a compatibility list for 8Gb modules and the XPS15R2 was explicitly mentioned.
The basic architecture of the z is the same, so it should also take 2x8Gb.
