Hi, I have an xps 13 at home and after a windows update we discovered that sound was so flat. After checking the audio settings we found that Maxxaudio presents are missing, please see the attach file. It just shown the defult flat EQ presnt (also the sound settings from windows does not shown the enhancements tab) I think there should be others presents because before the update the laptop sound was much better. Do you know where can I get back the presents?

Do you mean presets? I thought turning on any of the maxx audio features can actually damage your speakers (on xps15 at least) so most people try to leave them off

This happens with some windows versions, simply fixed by sticking the dell ones on every time I had it.

Since I never got an answer in the inspiron section...I will ask here to get some thoughts. My dell, when unplugged from my desk speakers, will lose audio. What I mean by this, if I am using my notebook at the kitchen table, try to play audio, it comes in loud for a second then fades out to where I can barely hear it with the volume on max. Any idea what could be causing this?

I didnt check before but I think there should be different presets available, doesnt it? I also realised that the "intel high definition audio driver" is missing and I cannot update itAttached Files:
