    Hi guys,
i have got a brand new replacement XPS M1530 laptop from dell. in this brand new system i made dual boot with media direct properly installed as what i had in my previous xps m1530 machine. but today when i was in xp os, i pressed on the media direct button but nothing happened, then i have been to start>program>media direct. i click on that but the same thing. arrow gives me a waiting sign for a while(it seems that media direct is going to run now) then noting happened. so i got realize that somehow my media direct is not able to be loaded in xp.

in my vista os i didn't see any problem. when i m running vista whthin a click it starts run.

can any1 help me how can i get media direct work in xp partition.
    i have got 250gb hdd with 7partition. C:Vista installed D:XP Pro installed.

hello guys, no reply? i have just figured out something. i have received dell media direct 3.5 with the new replacement dell xps m1530 laptop. and this one is the making problem. i have uninstalled this version, installed back 3.3 which came along with my previous xps m1530 a year ago in xp operating partition. and then it works. i mean scenario is this.

    250GB HDD >7 PARTITIONS (C:VISTA ULTIMATE, D: XP PRO, E, F, G, H, I)

At first i did everything with the latest Media Direct 3.5, as a result when i was in XP my media direct button was not working, even if i clicked from the program list media direct doesn't run

On the other side, there was not a problem at all in Vista operating partition.

so i thought why i was able to run media direct in my previous xps m1530 machine. then i figured out that that version was media direct 3.3.
so i installed it to xp os and it worked.

so the result is 3.5 version doesn't run in xp os
3.3 version runs both xp and vista.

is there any way, that i can b able to run 3.5 version in xp. that's my only one question now. guys plz share with me ur opinions.
