Ok, so I have been Googling this issue for the past few days and I am finally giving up on that route.
Basically, nearly every time I start up my laptop from a powered down state, most everything works but audio and video. Youtube videos won't play, offline music on Groove won't play, and Cortana doesn't detect my voice. Additionally, Steam is running in the background (despite me not choosing for it to start on startup) when this issue is present.

My "fix" has been to restart the laptop, after which everything is a-okay. This is getting extremely tiring (as one could imagine) and I'm pretty sure this is a software/drivers issue so I don't feel like calling Dell.

Can anyone offer me some insight? I Have the latest Realtek audio drivers according to device manager, btw.

    Specs:
    - i5 w/ Intel HD 520 (beta drivers)
    - FHD (1080p) non-touch display
    - 8gigs ram
    - Win10 home (NOT on insider)

EDIT: I've found a better "fix" for the moment, though not ideal. I chose to make my laptop hibernate when I press the power button, which I've been doing instead of shutting it down.
