Anyone else have issues with Minecraft and optimus?

If I left it on the intel graphics it's super sluggish and runs terrible, even with all the settings to low and the draw distance to close.

If I put it on the nVidia GPU it's super fast and works great until....

It runs out of memory. On the nVidia GPU after about 5 minutes it says there's not enough memory and Minecraft must be restarted.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

A Friend of mine experienced the same issue with an older Intel IGP. We found out, that Minecraft works terrible on Intel IGPs. Any low power Nvidia/Amd Card works just fine.
We haven´t figured out what to do :/
Maybe you can allocate more ram to the game (which is running Java) with special commandline parameters(just google for it, there are a lot of tweaks you can try)

I'll have to check it out. It won't really matter once my 3D system gets here and there is no optimus to get in the way x.x
