I'm not sure if we are supposed to receive the Creative earbud headphones with the M1330 still. I just got mine today after a month wait due to the 6 cell battery delay. It did include the XPS soft case, a leather (simulated) XPS folder with manual, the cleaning cloth and the remote though.

Another funny issue is the XPS logo on the front. For some reason, the shiny "S" in "XPS" is missing. Quality issues but the laptop is function fine. Should I call and ask about the headphones and "S".

I've attached pictures detailing my issue.

Wow dell, its one thing not sending some bonus accessories, but its another to be missing the shiny lettering.

Mine arrives today, hopefully, i'll at least get what OP got. I'll go without the $16 earbuds, but definitely not without the shiny S.

OP you should ask for tech to come to glue one on for you.

It's really pot luck what extras they give you. I received the sleeve (the important part), headphones and remote, but no cloth or leather wallet.

Don't worry about the headphones, they're rubbish anyway. Some half decent Sennheiser's are only £10 (or your local equivelent) anyway.

I got all of the accessories. Also, I disagree about the Creative earbuds. They actually have really good sound (nice bass, etc) compared to other earbud style headphones. Plus, they're free!

Thanks for the advice you guys. I called Dell this morning and the CSR apologized many times and because you cannot ship an "S", they will send me a brand new laptop :D . I then have 3-4 business days to transfer my data (thank god) before they send Purolator to pick up my old one.

As the for the headphones, as someone said earlier I don't care. I have nice Bose noise cancelling headphones anyways. Thanks for all the advice and input.

PS. The remote completely works with MediaDirect even after I did a dual boot with Vista and XP on my system
