I recently purchased a Dell XPS M1530 (in may this year), and me being my careless self, have lost the F3 key, and one of the little grippers on the bottom of the laptop.

A month ago, i phoned up Dell twice, and twice they picked up, blissfully unaware that they did so, so i listened to several jokes in different languages that seemed absolutely hilarious, boy i wish i was there, but, thus, i gave up, and lost the enthusiasm to replace my missing parts.

Now i have found a new pair (of my manlihood), and have decided to call up Dell once again, before i call up though, i want to make sure that i am able to actually replace these parts, and will they be free (i have trouble parting with my cash, i spent enough on this laptop anyway).

    Save my soul.

    Thanks. :)

itll probably depend on what kind of warranty you have, they may replace it with the limited hardware one but if you have the complete accidental coverage one they should but you probably wont wanna waste it on that.

I dont think you should say you accidentally lost the F3 key because of your carelessness, say it fell off by itself :D

Lmao, well to be fair, it did fall of by itself, but it fell into somewhere unknown.

    Thanks for the replies.
