    Missing a key ...

    Hi Pros,

    a few days ago, I opened the lid to my Studio XPS 1640 and, to my shock, the 'A' - key fell out. Beats me how it got removed, maybe the cloth i had between the screen and keys pulled it out. Of course, one of the small plastic tabs was broken. :(

    Anyway, now i have a hard time typing. Unfortunately, my premium support is already over. I just thought I'd jump at the chance and ask you guys if anyone has already swapped keyboards for some reason and maybe has a leftover 'A'-key. (Or knows a ressource where you can buy one). I'd be most thankful!! :eek:

    This is probably one of the more pricier options (and might be over-kill in your case if all you're looking for it the key), but you can buy parts from Dell out of warranty. There's also plenty of sites that sell Studio XPS 1640 parts, including eBay, parts-people.com, etc.
