    Is this post for real? There's no way that is going to mate with an L702x. Not to mention the color and style is completely different.

    Oh.. this is sucks... and what about the backlight keyboard?? about red or blue for example..?

    The backlight on the keyboard already has a blue-ish hue. If you want a deeper blue you could probably replace the LEDs if you're good with a soldering iron.

    So there are NO customizable back covers available for this model anywhere? No one anywhere sells anything like it? I just bought one of these computers and I really wanted to jazz it up.

    short of soldering on new LEDs or adding lights to the inside of the case you wont be able to mod this laptop

    however dell does give the option of replacing the standard aluminium lid cover with one of their studio design range when you order... be happy though dude, it's a great laptop - don't worry about the bling :p

    You want the bling, you have to buy an Alienware. That's how it works. The old XPS's shown in the beginning of this thread are from before Dell acquired Alienware and the XPS was Dell's top line.
