Hi guys, I’m thinking of getting CODMW2, just wondering how it’s running on the M1530??

With COD4, I usually play with the resolution at 1400x900, AA off and shadows off. This makes the game very playable.

What kind of settings are you guys using currently?

    Thanks for the help.

    Not me :)

I happen to love it! I don't have my 1530 anymore, so I can't tell you how well it would run.

dont buy it if you are planning to play it on your 1530. Unless you dont have heat issues with it. Mine was shutting down by itself after 30-45 mins of play time. Plus, you cant max out the video settings. FPS goes down...

If your system can run COD4 with zero problems, you can also run MW2 with the same graphic settings.
MW2 is really optimized and runs smooth on my system.

MW2 has nice gamplay but the single player campaign is too short :(

i played COD4 MW1 on my PS3 back then which is now a big door stopper. But tried MW2 on my 1530. Already had second thought of buying the game coz had a bad experience (low fps) as well with GTA4 on my 1530. But the fps in MW2 was much better than GTA4 in my 1530, though i was playing it (MW2) in the lowest settings.

Yeah MW2 seems to have a very short single player campaign, but it was quite good, missed the aerial attacks though in the previous MW1.

That means your thermal pads are still at their prime. Just had mine replenished and clean out the layer of dust in the fan this Friday and it dropped my avg temps by about 10Cs. Havent played it though since friday. Btw room temp on my location is at 27Cs..

Im playing it in its lowest settings, but its ok, fps drops if i go higher on it.
