So, I've been pondering what I'm going to put on the new SXPS16 I'm getting. I thought I'd post and see what you guys are installing for various things, like chat, office productivity, etc.

I'm looking more for things that will keep the resources down. So far, this is what I've come up with:

    Chat:

    Trillian

    Productivity:

    OpenOffice

Okay, so that's all I've got right now. I'm honestly not sure what else to look at. So, what do you guys use?

that can be used for nearly all laptops, it doesnt just apply for the x305, especially if you have an nvidia gpu.

and also for chat, try skype from www.skype.com
ccleaner for optimization as well as auslogics disk and/or registry defrag.
if you want to spend money and have more of an automated defrag program, diskeeper 2009 is excellent.

If you want a Print Screen Program, really simple and easy to use...
You cannot go wrong with Gadwin Print Screen ;) I have it on my 1530 and my Mini 9 Netbook:

I actually saw the one post in this thread about the Free Windows program. There's a lot going on there. I crashed just after I posted the thread, so I'm not quite in the right state of mind right now. My apologies. ; )
