Dell came and replaced my motherboard the other day, I was wondering if this also means that I got my GPU replaced?
I was told that my GPU was part of my motherboard by a friend.
Thanks.

Did you not stand over them and watch what they were doing ?
-
Not really...
I was making lunch.
I was just wondering if the GPU was directly attached to the motherboard. -
Which laptop do you have?
-
Yes it is . Then again we are not sure what model you have
-
Dell XPS M1530.
Sorry, forgot to state. -
Yeah it will have been. GPU on that model is soldered on to the mobo
-
Thanks.
Just a quick question, what are the normal idling temps for the GPU on the Dell XPS M1530? -
Depends on what your ambient (room) temps are. What are your temps? Use HWMonitor if you don't have any program already to check temps.

On my 1530, generally mid 50's - mid 60's
When gaming it goes a bit higher.
Generally anything up to mid 80-ish is grand for the gpu.
