    Hey guys,
My xps 1330 recently screwed up and dell sent over a technician to replace the motherboard. the technician told me that dell had given him an older(?)A01 model to replace my A04 model...... just wondering if there is a any difference between the two and if i should ask them to replace the A01 i was given to an A04
    thanks...

A04 supposedly fixed cpu whine, but theres multiple reports stating it hasnt. In any case the 04 is going to be better i would assume just because it is newer and has learned from A01's mistakes.
