Ok i ran across these drivers on laptopvideo2go.com and i really just have to let all m1730 users know about this. Stock dell drivers and drivers underneath 177.41 have had lots of issues running SLI well, expecially in Non-SLI friendly games like crysis. 179.13 is a laptop version of 178.13 by alienware. This is great stuff. This really has brought the raw power of my SLI out and i can feel it in all my games. Not only that it has lowered my temps by a few degrees over 177.41+ drivers. I strongly recommend these to any 8800m GTX SLI users.

    It can be found at

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista/179.13 for VISTA 32 bit

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/xp/179.13 for XP 32 bit

no 64 bit versions out of yet though =(

For 64 bit users with an 8800m GTX SLI setup i would recommend using the 178.13 drivers from laptopvideo2go they benchmark just under 179.13 Install them using the same process you would for the 179.13, just look for them under the drivers tab on the main page.

Just DL the Driver extract the folder out and then insert the custom INI file into the folder and replace the older one and then run the .exe in the folder.

Is that to say are they WHQL cert'd - I don't know. Check LV2G. I think the 177.83 are cert'd though, and they've very good performance.

If they still have the WHQL signing, yes, they will work with blurays..

But if its the modded .inf, the whql signing must be gone and bluray playback wouldn't be possible. the modded .inf render the whql signing useless.
