So I'm not sure what happend but one day I just noticed my backspace was really lopsided. So I popped off the piece and saw that one of the "clamps"on the left side was broken. How do I get this fixed, or even replaced?

If you're not under warranty, you should probably just buy a new keyboard. For older models, these things really come cheap, and if you're not under warranty, I'd assume you have an older model -___-

I beg to differ. Some old things don't come cheap, I used to have a real old computer few years back. Not wanting to completely discard it, I chose to upgrade its ram, which was a SD ram. And guess what ? It costs few times more than DD ram even though it's older. Why ? Because the supply was low and there was not much demand.
So it's better to double check again -

Eh, old memory is really kind of an exception... that does tend to be disproportionately expensive. But go look for a D600 keyboard or a mobile Pentium III or a Inspiron 6000 GPU, and it's a different story. Even with something relatively new like the E6400, you've got $50 keyboards at launch; now you're down to $20 a piece.
What laptop does OP have? -
call dell for replacement, its their problem that their product breaks easily.
