So ~8 months ago I purchased a Dell XPS Studio 1645.

Now Since then I had 4 repairs and I finally asked for a replacement system and after a few phone calls the replacement 'board' agreed. (this was 2-3 weeks ago)

My problem: Since then Dell said that they need to pickup my current system, we organise a time and guess what, they don't rock up. I call back they apoligize and organise another, guess what, no show! So next time I call a few times and speak to several different people and my current situation is at a point where nothing is occuring, if I call dell they say they can't actually do anything and the lady I called this morning who claimed she would call back in one hour hasnt called back in atleast 12 hours. Also this no call back situation has been consistent with the past 3 conversations I have had with dell XPS support. Also, I have received no information on what replacement I will be receiving (no emails , no calls) and I am just at a loss as to what I am going to do... What I plan to do once I receive the replacement is actualy sell it straight away and build my own desktop as I just can't deal with the atrocity that is dell (in my experience). The number of customer service issues I have had that is to gargantuan to list here is ridiculous.

So please people of the forums, help me in what I should do to escalate the process of getting rid of my current 1645 and receiving a replacement (or even a refund if possible).

I really have no idea what to do as dell refuses to communicate with me the customer in what is occuring and I feel as if they are just purposely ignoring me.

    Thanks
    Tim. :)

    Yeah dude..
    Mail Higher authorities.
I did that and my Laptop was ready to be replaced..
Last week they picked up(After 10-12 calls) and today Got a quote for replacement.

Mailing Higher authorities definitely helps.. Check your local Dell site for more details
