    My Dell xps 15-l502x keeps crashing during Tribes Ascend (2gb Nvidia gt 540m)

    Anyone else experience this? I have the latest drivers and once in a while it'll crash to the desktop. My guess is that it's something to do with optimus (switching b/w discrete and dedicated) but not sure. Anyone know a fix?

    Sorry I can't help. I do not have this problem.

    I'm on Tribes as well, but haven't had any crashes since it left beta.

    As for ensuring that you are using the dedicated GPU (and not the integrated Intel HD), go into your nVidia Control Panel and set up a profile for the Tribes EXE, and make sure that you set it to use the GeForce card.
