    XPS M1730, Intel Core 2 Duo T9300(2.5GHz, 800Mhz, 6M L2 Cache)
    6GB, DDR2, 800MHz 2 Dimm
NVIDIA SLI Dual GeForce 8700MGT with 512MB GDDR3 Memory
    Price: A little over $2,000.00

Yes it is the Nvidia SLI Dual GeForce 87000MGT that shocked me. Until running a system check on 3DMark I did not know that the SLI itself was 512 MB and the single cards were 256 MB. I am not going to waste a minimum extra $400 USD for 8800's. And so my question is... stick with this or return up to 15% restocking fee and sales tax, and get Asus G51Vx-RX05 at a local BestBuy or 1 day shipping?

Oh no... If I open the box, I cannot return the laptop?

A single 9800m GS is equal to or better than SLI 8700's. For $2000, you can do much better.

If the box is opened, you'll be subject to a 15% restocking fee, which is a significant $300 for this laptop.

Nothing wrong with the M1730, its a very powerful laptop,

With the 8800gtx/9800gt anyways.., Since you have 8700m, I would return it and eat the restocking fee. Not that the 8700m SLI is bad, its just not great against the current gpu lineup.

    That's my opinion anyways :)

Ripfire was selling his LOADED XPS M1730...x9000 and dual 9800s for 1600$ with warranty....that is when the XPS is a good deal.

I also bought mine for 1400 through here.

I am not sure why/how you paid 2k with that system if you knew about NBR.
