As the title says,my new dell M1530 just died.

Today morning like always i turn on my laptop and for my surprise the fan started but nothing else is alive, the shortcut keys dont get light its dead.
Nothing on the screen,no chance to go to the bios, nothing i can do to try to find out whats happen.

    Any help.....

Im thinking on return it back and then try one more time and buy another one, because there are more problems with it,and i think its gonna be more easy to solve the problems that im having with it.

    -Shocks next to the touchpad
-dvd slot its far to noisy
oh well and the list everyone already know it.

    Im in UK.

ps.sorry my english its not my first language,im Portuguese by the way :D

    Best regards
    Another disapointed Dell customer

if it shocks you, it sounds like it wasn't grounded properly. that might be why it died.

It sounds like it shorted, and probably shorted the harddrive and possibly part of the motherboard.

Dud, meaning sent you a lemon, or in other words, sent you a bad machine.
I recommend to send it back for a new one (providing you are within your return / warranty time period. If not, then send it back in to get repaired. I personally would press the fact that I would be wanting a NEW computer.
