    My M1530 made a weird noise

    Alright the other day while surfing the net i noticed a strange noise coming from my laptop and I really didn't think of anything. So anyway just 5 minutes ago while doing the same usual things like surfing the net, the same noise came out again. Just once, and it sounded something like this, DEEENGGG......(i really don't know how to explain it) this sound appeared while my volume is muted. Anyway I know it's not the hard drive noise so i am a little worried but more so confused. I'm thinking is this an indicator that maybe the temperature of my laptop is hot that causes that sound?

    Please i like to hear your input on this because i've never heard such a sound or noise like this before and btw this never happened with using vista 32 bit just recently switched to windows 7 64 bit

    wow i'm either tripping or my laptop is just one of a kind lol

    anybody experiencing some sort of sound at all besides the norm like hard drive?

    Could it be your DVD-ROM? I know that mine will make a noise once in a while, even when there isn't a disk in it.

    I don't know, but does your DVD-ROM make a really loud noise? I mean the sound on my laptop is so obvious even my lady sat 4ft away from me noticed the sound too and asked what was that? I mean this raises a red flag cus i've never heard such sound like this before and this isnt the first time either thats why i made a thread about it, but thanks for your input

    anyone experiencing with weird loud noise that just appeared out of nowhere?

    Is the Deeeeeng like a humming? Does your lappy vibrate at all?
    I haven't heard this noise..but there was a thread made sometime ago about an isolated noise issue on the 1530. Will try and find.

    no humming and it doesn't vibrate just that weird strange noise. for now everything is working great and i'm just going to leave it at that. will post if it ever happens again

    no that would be the hard drive noise and i am accustom to, but this one though is one of a kind and it's loud, loud enough where my lady sat 4ft behind me noticed it to...

    the sound goes DENNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG...............
