Within just a day of officially ordering (on Friday) my XPS 1530, it's moved from Order Processing, skipped Pre-Production and gone straight into Production! My Sutdio 1535 order spent 4 weeks in Pre-Production.

For sure my XPS might spend the next 4 weeks or more "In Production", but I'm quite confident that it will ship next week :D

This is a good thing for you. :D ..I remember reading what was going on with your order for the 1535 :(

But that was *then* and this is *now* and your getting one sweet lappy! :) ;)

Being in the production stage is a good thing as your build *rolls forward*

Let us know when it's being shipped, and once you receive it!

    Cin ;) :)

Thanks Cin, yeah after my nightmare 1535 order, I'm glad this one seems to be at least moving quicker. I can't find the thread that had detailed information on each stage of the order... I'll keep searching, but if anyone can post a link, that'd be great.

    :)

Well I'm pleased to report that my laptop has moved to the shipping phase, phase 5 already!!! This is a fantastic service in comparison to my Studio 1535 order!

If I'd ordered an XPS instead of a Studio, last month, I'd have been singing Dell's praises, lol.

EDIT: Does anyone know who shipping company WUK is? That's the company listed on my packaging slip...
