    I have noticed recently my xps 17 has been getting really hard to lug around cause of its size. do u think dell would trade off for about a the same specs on a XPS15? Ive had this laptop for about a month and a half. anyone done this?

    You are past the return date. Sell your XPS 17 and get the 15.

    Yes i highly doubt they will swap it for you but you can always ask. But really op you should of expected a 17" machine to be big and awkward to lug around. 17" are classed more as desktop replacements.

    Yea i know Thats what I use it for, BUT I also when im home hook it up to my 1080p mouinter and keyboard and mouse, speakers, etc. The reason why I thought i would like it was that Im over at my friends half of my time and it would be nice for that screen. But its just to big lol. If I sell it I prob wont get as much as I paid for it. I put it on dell credit too
