    Hi guys !
I got the problem with my XPS M1210. Last night, my lappy still worked normally but in the morning, when I try to turn on my lappy,I press the power button and ... nothing appears. I mean the dark screen and the fan of the CPU is out of work. I can see the the light of the power button and the DVD is still working. I think the cause of the problem is the HDD and CPU. They are not working so far but I'm not sure. Unfortunately, my lappy was just out of warranty last month. Any idea about the issue? Thanks for reading.

So when you turn the laptop on the screen remains dark (you dont even see the BIOS - Dell logo screen? If so, sounds like maybe your video card crapped out.

Same thing happened to me earlier this week...

Dell's customer service was useless as my warranty expired two months ago. It seems like they time the m1210's to fail like this.
