Alright I bought a refurbished laptop for $900 and the performance has been terrific. Now i have several minor problems i like to point out to see if this is normal or not and if its not i like to have it fix.
The first picture shows the plastic (whats the name for that?) isnt flush against the frame
The second picture shows that whole areas if i gently press it down it starts to squeaks like crazy. So i was determine to find out why my high end lappy is making this terrible squeaks
The third picture shows where i popped the plastic piece open, close the the lid and press down on that whole areas, the squeaks went away, but i cant have the plastic piece open like that cus if i close the lid its going to scrape against the back end of the laptop
The fourth picture shows my keyboard where theres a slope between F2-F4 which i can live with it but thought i bring it up. Now the spacebar has a huge gap cmpared to the rest of the keys. It also has so much flex and everytime i press on it it drives me crazy cus it sounds like im pounding on it lol
Lastly i didnt attach a picture but my LG WXGA+ display part#M809C looks grainy/sparklecould someone with a WXGA+ LG display attach a non flash picture so i can do a comparison? Also i dont know if this is a fair comparison but i put mine WXGA+ next to my lady's macbook WXGA 1280x800 and her looks a lot better no grainy the white screen look flawless

Haha... a few of the typical 1530 problems. You should be able to search for some fixes to your issues depending on how technically savvy you are.

What about the spacebar i did a search and couldn't find anything -
Hey King,
Those are common defects but certainly not acceptable, if you have a warranty i suggest telling a dell tech and sending hose same pics, the spacebar could be that a cable passing under it isnt correctly placed, thus the little twist on the whole keyboard!
the frame of the screen is a bit off on mine, but not as much as yours, it shouldn't stick out like that!
and the opening on the bottom of the screen should not be that way, it should be completely attached to the screen.
Best of luck!
