Hi there. I've been a M1530 since May.
I have a AUO2077 lcd panel (1440x900) and it has always looked... strange![]()
I've noticed that if the screen is not at full brightness, it's hardly usable (it's very dark). I don't know if that's the standard with all lcd panels, or it's my problem.
How could I check that? I don't know anyone with a M1530 around me. Should I call Dell and ask for a LCD replacement? What if the screen I get is worse?
Is it possible to order a LED replacement? (paying an extra?) EDIT: Well, LED screens aren't available at my country, so I guess that's not possible.

Anyone?

I don't know, maybe yours is faulty
(would need pics to tell really)
but I've also got an lcd (the 1920*1200 version) and honestly I can't use it -unless at full brightness, and thats indoors. So maybe its just the fact its an lcd. -
I read somewhere in other threads that you can`t switch non-LED screens with LED screens for various reasons..

you have to swap the whole lid to change
My screen is unusable without max brightness
