    Hi,
I just got an email from Dell Canada today saying that there is a new Studio XPS 16, so here it is:
    Hosted Email

but when I click on the link in it, it says:
This item may not be available in the segment you’ve selected. Please contact your sales representative for more details.

    Can someone explain?

Don't need to worry but i suggest you do a virus scan and check for spyware on your PC.

Oh, looks like I'm an internet noob after years of thinking myself as a computer geek who doesn't need antivirus.

If that's being sarcastic then sorry I tried to help someone i know nothing about or what their knowledge is. If you are a Geek then that's great and you shouldn't need to waste our time posting stupid threads.

The picture is of a Studio XPS 16, which is the old laptop released over a year ago. The models are 1640, 1645, and 1647. They're not new.

It's no longer available because it's the old model. They have been replaced by the XPS 14, XPS 15, and XPS 17.

(The email is a harmless advertisement. You're not going to get a virus from it. LOL.)

No I'm not being sarcastic, actually what you guys said got me very worried, as of now I changed my browser. I'm not gonna run a virus or spyware scan, cause I'm getting a new computer very soon (XPS 15 hehe, waiting for delivery).

As English isn't my first language, I wonder what that other word is, lol.

    Thx for your inputs anyway.

The link is just a hosted mailserver for Dell. No virus or spyware or anything there, all of Dell's e-mails are like that. I don't know why they would send out an ad for an expired system, but it's not dangerous.
