HI, Im pondering whether to take advantage of Dell's 25% off the Studio XPS 16 and get it brand new with the 1GB video card and 2 year warranty including tax for $1,220 or get it used for $820. Now the only difference between the new one and the one im buying used is that the used one only has 512mb video card and it has a WLED LCD (1366x768) screen. The new laptop straight from Dell has a WLED LCD (1920x1080). Now I do play games here and there but im going off to college so I don't plan on playing too much so the video card doesn't bother me. I would like to know if there is a huge difference between the quality of the two screens, as I don't know much about computer screens. Is the price difference worth getting the SXPS 16 brand new just for a screen?

    Thanks in advance!

Go with the 1080P RGB LED screen. I really don't understand why anybody would go with anything else . The screen is the most important feature of a laptop.

Same here, I have been loving my screen. It makes my old one look horrible. Also even if you don't use the graphics card for games now you might later on and you can't change the video cards without changing the motherboard.

I'm looking at the LED option (again) but for the 1340, and thru EPP. And, right now there is a $100 GC with purchase. The only screen option availi' is the LED..so I will take that. The LED is very important to me, as it should be with everyone.

That, is what your eyes *see* each and every time you look at your lappy!
