I'm a proud new owner of an M1730, runs great, etc. etc. But whenever I click the QuickSet button it takes me to a blank purple screen with a Mobility Center button which I click, then it opens up to the various options. And when I click on any of the options it just opens up the same purple screen. I got it to open the display settings one time to change the LED settings, but now it won't open up anymore. Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Sounds like something is funky with the Quickset install. Shouldn't be an issue though... try this:

    1. Open up Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features)
    2. Uninstall Quickset and then reboot
    3. Download the proper Quickset for your OS
    If on XP, use: http://ftp.us.dell.com/app/R180759.exe

    If on Vista use: http://ftp.us.dell.com/app/R180762.exe

Once you have downloaded the proper version, run the installer. This should fix the issue. If not, let us know and post your full specs of the lappie.
