    Does anyone know the part # or how I can get one of these release tabs (#1)

    Nopes, you are not the only one. If the notebook is not under warranty i would suggest you buy an old (dead) similar motherboard from ebay and pull it off from there. Will cost you around $10. You can also put tape on it, i dont think it will cause any problems.

    If under warranty, you can ask dell to replace the motherboard and you can take it off the motherboard they send you without having to replace it.

    Unfortunately I could not come up with a part# and i doubt that dell has a part number for these. However they do have their size written on top of them.
