I want to replace the whole bezel that goes around my slim and light led screen. I also need to replace the cover on top of that which is tuxedo black. Is it difficult to do? Where do i buy it from? how much is this going to cost me? thanks

are you under warranty? might be able to get it from dell straight

    ebay next ig uess

the bezel replacement is easy( it snaps off)... the cover is tough... i did it once to replace the hinge part.. u need to disassemble the entire display..... a fun 3 hours opening my laptop... . :p

i got in on the same deal as you did. It is exactly the same setup with warranty. There are a couple of scratches on it that annoy the hell out of me. what would you?

call dell and say something fell onto the bezel and scratch/broke it.... since u (should) have Compelte Care, the CSR would ask you to return it to depot (the CSR didnt offer to send a tech for NBD service, but a broken hinge is minor... didn tpush) .... say depot takes too long, ask if you can get the parts sent over

if u dont have Complete Care, too bad :)

I bought my M1330 from Dell Outlet (refurb).
It came in excellent condition except for few marks (light scratches) on the back lid.

I decided to buy a replacement cover to make the M1330 look like brand new. :D

Called Dell to order the part (Tuxedo Black as well) and they refused to sell it for me.

But they scheduled a technician to come to my house and replace the lid cover for free. :) :) :)
