    New A11 Bios for XPS 1340 ?

    Hey guys, um i downloaded the new bios update but i cannot get the flash utility to work. Anyone care to share the process with a noob with regards to running the utility?

    Just ensure both the battery and AC adapter are attached to the laptop and then run the executable as an administrator (by right clicking and then selecting the option to do so). Then select "Yes" when the prompt asks you for administrative permission.

    Before flashing ensure that you are prepared to shut down the computer and have no needed unsaved files open.

    Everything you mentioned as a prerequisite was done, but again, no go. The utility just doesn't work. When I click on the flash button, I get an error. I may have to redownload and see if that helps.

    It would help if you told us what the error said...And yes, try downloading it again to ensure the file wasn't corrupt.
