    Dear All,

I have the Alps touchpad driver, version 7.2.101.211, and I have been having this around for a long time on my XPS M1530. I don't have any problem' as such and the touchpad is working fine.

But sometimes, there seems to be some lag or jump while using the touchpad... I'm not sure if this is because of the driver or whatever, but I was looking for any newer driver versions.

I checked in the Dell website, and there seem to be some, for the Inspiron models. But I'm not sure if they can be used for the M1530.

Can someone please let me know if there are newer drivers for the touchpad for the M1530, and where can I get them? and I am looking for only the official one's.

    Thanks a lot and cheers.

You can get the latest drivers from Welcome to Dell Support

Alps doesn't publish a generic driver so that will be all you get...

The poor performance is probably just from the fact that it is an Alps pad. They are just so horrible that I am amazed they are still in business after all of these years.
