My laptop is an XPS 13, model 9360. I just purchased a new Dell monitor, model U2415. It came with 2 cables. One is labeled DP V1.2; the other is a miniDP to USB. I also have a HDMI to USB-C. I plugged in the HDMI cable and turned on the monitor, thinking it would automatically be detected by the laptop,(Windows 10). But it isn't and a message on the new monitor says "No DP cable". What am I doing wrong?
