Do they have any up for the GT540M? I can't find them (apart from Dell website).

Its probably not supported yet, when the L701X came out, I couldn't download the drivers directly from the Nvidia website...

Even though the L502x is fairly new, the GT 540M has been out since the beginning of December. I think 4 months is enough time to update a driver, but maybe I'm wrong.

You can get a modified .inf file that enables support for all cards.

From what I've read, that driver with the modified .inf file has decreased performance compared to the dell drivers on almost everyone that's tried it. Thanks, but no thanks.

I have no idea why the drivers for the 540M are not available yet, sure 4 months is long enough, you can try with the automatic driver detection:

NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Find Drivers For My NVIDIA Products

It's just a matter of time, if I were you I would stick with Dell for now, meanwhile I would check the Nvidia website once in a while.

EDIT: From what I've read on the Nvidia website forum the drivers are just not available yet, matter of time.
