Hi, I've been a huge dell loyalist for laptops for years, i usually build my own PCs. Last christmas I got my girlfriend a Inspiron 1420 and she has been eyeing my M1530 for the last year or so :) I wanted to get us both new M1530s but i notice that dell seems to be /way/ behind in video cards and processors compared to the competitors.

Does anyone know if dell plans on adding the 9xxx series of graphic controllers of the P series of intel CPUs to the m1530 OR if they plan on releasing a new laptop in time for the holidays, and if not can someone recommend a similar competitor which has the same quality.

    Thank you,
    BMF

No use waiting for Dell. They are already late by 3-4 months than their competitors. And moreover when the next range is coming is beyond's anyone's estimation. Go for the HP dv5t. They come with the Montevina platform and the 9600M GT card.
