    New XPS's anytime soon?

    I need a new laptop and would prefer a new XPS 1530 but the 8600 just isn't going to cut it at 19*12 and 16*10 isn't an option. As an alternative I am considering the dv5t but would rather go with a Dell. Any rumors of anything soon or should I just go with something else?

    The most recent rumors say November. So, if you need anything before then you'd have to try another company.

    Agreed^^^^And even then, they could very well push it into December ;) :)

    You just never know...Look at the roll out of the I9..that was *supposedly* 8/22, and it rolled out last week! :eek: ;) :D

    Yeah November is to far off. Looks like I will be venturing elsewhere. The HP is looking the most promising so far.

    It's a shame they are waiting til November. They already have lower than expected sales and now they are late. This looks like it could be a consecutive bad quarter for Dell.

    Yeps! It's too bad they don't *roll-out* most everything now, as so many peep's are *hot to buy*...like me ;) :)

    The time is now..but obviously Dell doesn't feel that way. So what happens is they lose alot of potential sales now :( ....But, will gain them back down the road when the notebooks are *rolled out* ;) :)
