Enjoying my new 9360. Purchased with the 128GB SanDisk SSD, with the plan to upgrade to a faster, larger drive. Ordered the Samsung 960 Pro 512GB, scheduled to arrive in a day or two.
I want to clean install Windows 10. So is it simply a matter of replacing the stock drive with the new one, installing Windows 10 off the USB, and I'm off to the races? Or is there more to it than this?
I'm wondering if I will need to install a driver for the new SSD, as I see there is one for download on the Samsung site. If so, when is it installed?

Considering the minimal changes between the 9350 and the 9360, you'll probably need the NVMe driver, the standard Win 10 iso won't find the new drive. Instructions should be on the forums.

Gonzo, I see three files in that link you provided. Which is the correct driver for the 960 Pro SSD? And can I use the latest driver from Samsung's site? I think it's v2.1

I would try 2.1 with your 960 pro. If you have any random freezing issues, I would install 2.0.

You can toss them onto the install media and navigate to them when it asks for additional drivers when it fails to find the drive. I tend to put them in a folder so I know where to look.
iaSTOR for raid
iaAHCIC for AHCI
Raid/AHCI as set in the BIOS, I suggest AHCI for maximum compatibility with the drive or the magician software will not be able to read it and you cannot install the Samsung driver -
GoNz0, thanks for all the help you provide and for bearing with my lack of know how with this stuff. Another question or two. . .
1) The boot driver you provided will be required to install Windows 10 on the new SSD, and I will be prompted to install it during the process?
2) A generic driver for the 960 Pro will be installed by default. I can then install Samsung's driver later on?
3) Do I need to make a change in the BIOS from the default settings? Looking at it now, I see Boot mode is set to UEFI; Secure boot: On. Plus a slew of other settings I don't understand and don't want to experiment with. -
yes
