    No Bluetooth with W7 64bit (1640)

    Hmm, this is really weird. Theres no unrecognised devices in device manager and theres no bluetooth in control panel.

    I am able to see my computer in my mobile phone when I search for bluetooth devices but even then the name that is displayed is that of the bluetooth card and not of my computer. I searched dell.com for drivers but there are none that are specifically for bluetooth.

    Please help.

    Exactly!

    Go to Dell Support center -> Drivers Download -> Vista x64 -> And you will find the driver for it...It is of around 57 MB...
